Had dinner in this Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. Lee Kui (Ah Hoi) Restaurant. Food, quite nice Worth another few more tries. The restaurant was already crowded by the time my friends and I reached the place.

Fried prawn i think. =) Delicious.

Fish. Fresh and nice. But i reckoned it would be better if its served with those little fire on the bottom.

Specialty fried chicken. Quite nice.

Claypot tofu which came when I was almost done with my rice and other dishes.

And of course, vegetables for the rest except myself. =)

Dinner in this restaurant after a movie date with friends. Overall food was so so. But i personally like the fried dumplings and the tea they have. =)

Went for dinner at this little fast food type of restaurant in Cathay Cineleisure. They serve a combination of Korean and Japanese food. Tried the bento. Was not fantastic. Tried some of the sides they have. Not impressive either. But overall, was okay for an affordable fast food type of restaurant.

Was out partying and gatherings since mid of December till last Friday, January 1st. Very tiring. Anyway, here are some of the food i came across for the past half a month. Will take sometime to load/blog one by one. =)

Lets start with this Chicken Rice. Nam Kee Chicken Rice and Restaurant. Claimed by the locals as one of the best chicken rice in Singapore. Went and try. Don’t think it was that great although you will see lots of people during peak times.

All the way from Christmas Eve till January 1st night itself. phiew..

Hot Hot Hot Buffalo Chicken Wings from Sunset Grill and Pub in Seletar Airbase, Singapore

Went for a friend belated birthday celebration dinner in Sunset Grill and Pub to try out their food and of course the ever famous hot and spicy buffalo chicken wings. Do keep in mind that it was not easy to find the place. You need to get to Seletar Airbase and from there, drive in a few meters, turn right, turn left, turn right, to get there.

In the menu, there were only a list of buffalo chicken wings from level 1-10. We asked the staffs and were told there were levels till level 35 !!

As a start of the celebration dinner, we had our normal dinner and most of the food tasted quite alright. Medium size portions. =) Will come back again for the food.

Then, we headed for the buffalo chicken wings. Started off with Level 2. Leisure eating. =) Tasted normal to the rest but already spicy for me as i could not take spicy food. Friends then ordered the level 30 chicken wings. CRAZY !! Well, they wanted to have their names on the hall of fame. I could not imagine how it tasted. It already smelled HOT !!

Clam chowder soup, came with one garlic bread. Tasted very normal but acceptable taste. Very creamy and thick. =)

Main course. BBQ Half Chicken with sides of baked potato and fries. Was too full after having the half chicken. Did not taste the baked potato. Very normal bbq chicken. Nothing to shout about.

Mashed potato. Like it.

BBQ Pork Ribs.

3 types of grilled sausages. Love the cheese sausages.

Fish and Chips.

Chicken ‘smth’. =P

Beef Lasagna with lots of cheese.

Came with salad.

Pork Chop.

And now, the buffalo chicken wings. Level 2 first.

This, level 30. Could not imagine how it tasted. Diarrhea, stomach ache, pain here and there, throat burning, face stiffing, big sausages lips. =) All in.

Ended with a brownie cake for the birthday boy. The brownie comes with single/double scoops of ice cream.

Hawker Finger Food in Redhill Market, Singapore

Was out in Redhill for some food/dinner/supper. Friend recommended this Redhill Market to try out some of the famous hawker food/finger food. Most of the food ordered from a few different stalls tasted quite nice. A good place to eat for those who are looking for delicious hawker food and yet have no idea what to have. A variety of hawker dishes here. =)

One of the stall we tried.

Chicken Wings. Very crispy and ‘bbq taste’ blended in quite well.
SGD 1.10 for one bbq chicken wing, SGD 1.20 for one bbq black pepper chicken wing.

BBQ Stingray. Not as good as those i’ve tasted before but good enough and could ask for more.

BBQ Sotong. Still from the same stall. Tasted ok but I don’t really like it. Too much of onions.

Fried oyster omelette. Liked this. Will come back again. Oyster tasted very fresh and just nice. Not too oily.

Satay. Tasted very normal.

Some fruit rojak. Friend seemed to love the sauce.
